Hospital Overview
The Joint Logistics Force Ninety-Eighty-Three Hospital is located in the Hebei District of Tianjin City, No. 60, Huangwei Road, is the only one in Tianjin City, the army's third-class A-class hospital. The hospital was founded in 1949, and in 1954 was officially named the “Chinese People's Liberation Army Hospital No. 254”. It is now a key hospital for monitoring adverse drug reactions, a national clinical drug testing organization, a base for clinical pharmacology of the whole army, a teaching hospital of the Second and Third Military Medical Universities, Baiqiu'en Military Medical College and Armed Police Medical College, an affiliated hospital of Nankai University School of Medicine, a designated hospital for traffic accidents in Tianjin, and the first batch of hospitals designated for medical insurance.
The hospital has obvious specialty characteristics, with 38 departments and 46 specialties, including the All-Army Coronary Heart Disease Intervention Center, Beijing Military Region Reproductive Health Technology Center and key specialties such as urology, orthopedics and gastroenterology. The hospital has strong technical force, with 24 professors, 10 master's tutors, 75 talents with master's degree or above, and more than 100 senior titles. The hospital has been awarded more than 300 scientific and technological achievement awards by the state, the army, and Tianjin, 21 national patents, and 25 technological gaps have been filled in Tianjin.
