Hospital Overview
PLA 906 Hospital is a set of medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, health care, rehabilitation as one of the comprehensive “third-class A” hospital. Founded more than 50 years ago, the hospital adheres to the development strategy of “building hospitals with quality and strengthening hospitals with science”, adheres to the people-oriented approach, promotes scientific and technological innovation, strengthens scientific management, and promotes comprehensive development.
The hospital now has 30 departments and 600 beds. It has more than 30 post-doctors, doctors and masters, and more than 200 senior and middle-level professional and technical cadres. Orthopedics and urology are Nanjing Military Region Spine Surgery Center and Nanjing Military Region (Zhejiang) Endoluminal Urology Center; tumor (radiotherapy, chemotherapy) treatment center, hyperbaric oxygen, burns, general surgery, gastroenterology, cardiovascular and neurological internal medicine, renal endocrinology, geriatrics, respiratory internal medicine, infectious diseases, pathology, radiology and imaging, special diagnostics and other specialties are technically strong, and have a higher reputation in the local community. The hospital has been designated as a teaching hospital by five medical schools, including Anhui Medical University and Zhejiang Medical College. It has won more than 30 awards for scientific and technological progress and medical achievements of the army.
